В Исландии проснулся вулкан Бардарбунг

Мировое сообщество поразило страшное событие: на днях в Исландии проснулся спящий вулкан – Бардарбунг. Стоит упомянуть, что еще недавно – в марте 2010 года в Исландии уже происходило извержение вулкана Эйяфьядлаекюдль, и сейчас ситуация может повториться.
Местные ученые, в частности – Пэлл Эйнарссон, считают что околовулканный район демонстрирует признаки повышенной активности, а это и стало причиной беспокойства. Ситуация усугубляется и тем, что в настоящее время в районе ученым не хватает сейсмологических приборов, и поэтому точные прогнозы светила науки дать не могут, как и не могут предсказать масштаб возможного извержения. Пока неизвестно, на какой глубине под землей идут толчки, становящиеся причиной повышенной активности. В общем, пепел и дым, извергающиеся вулканом, могут доставить хлопоты местному населению, людям, видимо, придется приобрести очистители воздуха для помещений. В любом случае, аборигены должны начинать готовиться к природному катаклизму.
Как говорит профессор – уже нет сомнений, что лава постоянно поднимается, т.к. за последнюю неделю была зарегистрирована сильная сейсмическая активность. Свое интервью Пэлл Эйнарссон дал местному телевидению, и это сообщение потрясло местное население. Ведь исландцы итак постоянно живут в страхе, т.к. на их острове находится огромное множество спящих и активных вулканов.
Стоит напомнить, что вулкан Бардарбунг считается спящим уже более ста лет – его последнее извержение фиксировалось в 1910 году. Самым мощным извержение Бардарбунга считается извержение в 1477 году, в это время произошел выброс просто колоссального количества пепла, что сопровождалось еще и огромным количеством лавы. Считалось даже, что это извержение было самым опасным за последние десять тысяч лет. В любом случае, местные жители могут пока забыть про ультразвуковой отпугиватель комаров – гадкие кровопийцы уже «покинули» околовулканный район.
Что ждать от вулкана: извержения или спячки, пока неизвестно. Но авиарейсы в Исландию в настоящее время закрыты, и трудно сказать, когда ситуация наладится.
