Запретят ли шампанское и коньяк в Украине?

На этой неделе новости Украины связаны с переговорами, которые проходят в Киеве по поводу образования зоны свободной торговли. Собрание Евросоюза подняло вопрос, который касается использования украинскими компаниями и предприятиями запатентованных географических названий при изготовлении своей продукции.
Всего в мире насчитывается около трех тысяч таких названий. В Украине, как правило, чаще всего употребляют географические наименования в пищевой промышленности. Например, «шампанское», «херес», «коньяк», «токай», «рокфор». Как известно, уже сейчас на многих прилавках в магазинах названия продукции не содержат слово «шампанское», на смену которому стали употреблять словосочетание «игристое вино». Связано это с проблемами продаж на внешних экспортных рынках. Но вес же, эти новости стали довольно проблематичны для Украины на переговорах с Евросоюзом.
Филипп Куисон, руководитель делегации Европейской комиссии по вопросам создания зоны свободной торговли, говорил о том, что Украина будет вынуждена отказаться от использования защищенных названий своей продукции. С такой проблемой сталкивались многие страны, но все они приняли эффективные меры, которые способствовали решению данного вопроса. Например, Испания, заменившая слово «шампанское» на «CAVA», смогла более успешно и прибыльно реализовать свою продукцию, которая приобрела широкую известность и популярность среди своего населения. По такой же схеме может действовать и Украине, поэтому такие новости, возможно, сыграют положительную роль в экономике страны.
Заместитель министра экономики Валерий Пятницкий обозначил, что новости о подписании договора с Евросоюзом не означают, что продукция исчезнет с прилавков, изменится только ее название. Теперь всем производителям придется скорректировать наименования своей продукции, которые будут более соответствовать требованиям Евросоюза. Естественно новые названия будут непривычны для населения, но со временем они должны войти в обиход. Подписание соглашения о создании свободной экономической зоны планируется в 2011 году, но полноценное вхождение Украины в членство Евросоюза будет осуществлено по истечению 5-10 лет.
