Разве что-то изменилось?
Кем мы были, тем и остались. Отношение власти к народу “вчера” и сегодня.
Почему-то вспоминается этот эпизод европейской истории с завидной частотой. Смотришь самые свежие новости, а в голове барон Отто фон Бисмарк ухмыляется. Получаешь квитанции с новыми расценками, и в голову лезет история Франко-Прусской войны 1870 года. Какая тут связь, чем бравый Бисмарк виноват в наших сегодняшних трудностях? Может, лечиться пора?
Сама-то история войны достаточно банальная. Несмотря на вполне серьёзные последствия для каждой из сторон. Такие «разборки» случались сотни раз до того и десятки раз после того. Франция и Пруссия боролись за пограничные земли и за влияние в регионе. Элиты двух стран жаждали войны. Но случилась незадача – престарелый король Пруссии, Вильгельм Первый, весьма осторожный по характеру, явно стремился уладить дело миром.
Вот тут-то и сыграл свою партию наш главный герой – Отто фон Бисмарк. Будучи канцлером Пруссии он сознательно исказил текст дипломатического послания своего короля до оскорбительной для французов степени. Попросту соврал с простодушием скандальной бабы. Война не заставила себя ждать.
И что? Нам-то, в нынешнем веке, какое до этого дело?
А вот что задевает за живое. Бисмарк, герой немецкой истории, железный канцлер, политик мирового уровня сознательно довёл дело до кровопролитной войны, на которой погибли десятки тысяч солдат. Армия, кстати, не была добровольной, никто солдатушек не спрашивал, хотят-ли они умирать.
Да и не в самом Бисмарке дело, ежели совсем серьёзно. Удивительно, насколько нетронутыми остались отношения власти и простонародья. Они до сих пор укладываются в простую формулу «барин – холоп» и меняться не собираются. Читаешь новости, удивляешься на цены, идёшь на поклон к чиновнику и постоянно убеждаешься, что каким мы быдлом были, таковым и остались.
Может, лечится от этого пора?
