Актуальная статья об опасности атомной энергетики и ее альтернативе, на примере России.
70-80% граждан России, согласно опросам, относятся к строительству атомных станций в соответствии с принципом «только не в моем огороде», лишь бы не рядом. Организованная Гринпис акция с требованием отказаться от строительства плавучих атомных станций набрала 25 тысяч подписей, что в абсолютном выражении, конечно, внушительно, но на фоне общего количества равнодушных жителей России все-таки слишком мало, тут еще можно зажигалки купить.
Между тем, авария на АЭС Фукусима-1 показала, что Чернобыльская катастрофа не была единичной случайностью и безалаберностью. Представители японского правительства заявляли, что японские ядерные программы самые безопасные в мире, всего за 2 месяца до трагедии. Атомные электростанции в России продолжают строиться. Уже в 2012 году первая плавучая атомная электростанция планируется к запуску у берегов Камчатки.
Альтернатива атомной энергетике существует. Та же Камчатка является регионом, подходящим для развития геотермальной и ветровой энергетики. Половину вводимых мощностей в электроэнергетике в мире составляет ветровая и солнечная энергетика. Разумная Германия половину своих атомных электростанций заменила энергией ветра и солнца. Существуют разработки по использованию энергии морских приливов и волн, энергии биомассы. Все эти источники энергии являются более безопасными и экологически чистыми. А использование биомассы еще и помогает утилизации вредных отходов. Более того, эти источники неисчерпаемы и эксплуатационные затраты на них будут ниже, но… Есть факторы, которые благодаря нашему молчаливому согласию, лицам, принимающим решения, кажутся более важными, чем безопасность человеческой жизни и сохранность окружающей среды.
Малая удельная мощность таких установок требует использования больших площадей для приемных поверхностей солнечных установок, ветроколес или плотин приливных электростанций, и потому больших материальных затрат при строительстве, а многие привыкли получать результат «сейчас и сразу».
Против таких источников энергии «играет» также их изменчивость во времени и зависит она от погодных условий. На самом деле, в этом тоже большой проблемы не должно быть: давно уже известно даже непрофессионалам, что для сохранения временно ненужной электроэнергии и последующего ее распределения используются аккумуляторы.
В России есть обширные территории, на которых целесообразно использовать возобновляемые источники энергии. Это и территории с низкой плотностью территории, и районы с частым отключением электроэнергии, это фермерские хозяйства, садово-огородные участки, места сезонной работы.
Негативное воздействие человеческой деятельности на окружающую среду ведет к серьезному ухудшению условий обитания. Возможность самосохранения становится одной из приоритетных задач общества. В этих условиях чисто экономические оценки становятся явно недостаточными. Только общественный нажим позволяет дополнить экономический расчет экологическими требованиями.
